It's when you ask an artist to create a piece of art, based on your request - what you want to be painted, what materials you want to be used etc. 

Just Contact me & discuss with him what you'd like painted; in what medium eg watercolour, oil, acrylic; what size you'd like etc.  This will include what the price would be for this unique painting.

Yes of course you can but it must be your own photo, otherwise there are issues regarding copyright laws.  Contact me to discuss it further. 

Contact me to discuss what you'd like painted & the location; in what medium eg watercolour, oil, acrylic; what size you'd like etc.  Arrangements will be made for me to visit the location to paint plein air - this could be the final painting or a painting sketch to create another painting.  This approach will include additional costs eg travel costs, which can be discussed for this unique painting.

I don't usually frame the painting, as this is to reduce the cost of postage.  If you'd like me to buy a frame for your painting, please contact me to discuss this further.

In general, the main points to remember is to display them away from direct sunlight; damp locations; & hot areas eg heating appliances.
For paper based artwork, these need to be framed with a covering of glass or acrylic.
For oil & acrylic paintings on canvas, panels etc, it's best for the artwork to be varnished as this will help protect them from sunlight & dust.
