Every painting I create is rooted in a sense of place and a desire to capture the atmosphere of the world around me.  Whether I’m working in oil, watercolour, acrylic, or gouache, my focus is always on translating the mood, light, and character of a scene — be it the dramatic landscapes of the Lake District, the vibrant streets of Liverpool, or the quiet beauty of everyday objects.

My work is inspired by the ever-changing weather and light of NW England, and by the emotional response these places evoke.  I aim to create paintings that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and see familiar scenes with fresh eyes.  Each piece is an original, painted with care and a genuine connection to the subject.
